Viscosity Lab
Obtain one test tube, a cork, and a thumb tack.
Obtain two pennies and place the pennies on the balance to keep the test tube from rolling.(Check container.)
Re-zero the balance.
Place the empty test tube, a cork, and a thumb tack on the balance and record.
Add tack to the empty test tube.
Measure the amount of water needed to fill the test tube and firmly place the cork in the test tube.
Record the volume.
Place the test tube filled with water and thumb tack on the balance and record.
Place finger firmly over the cork and record the time the tack takes to move from one end of the tube to the other.
Record results
Repeat step 9 and 10 two more times.
Repeat steps 9-11 with the 10/30 oil and 20/50 oil.
Calculate averages.
Empty the water and place the test tube in the plastic container upside down.

In addition to the traditional CONCLUSION, answer the following questions: Does density impact the viscosity? Why do you think that?(Remember to support the answer with DATA.)
