This is where I plan my Linoprint, as well as the different colours I'm going to use.
This is where I transfer the plan onto the linoprint with pernament marker
Step 3: I cut out the white areas and print Yellow; the colour of my skin.
Step 4: I cut the yellow parts for the print.
Step 5: I print the blue part over the yellow part.]
Step 6: cut out blue parts to print black
Finish product!!
I don't really like this medium of art, because it is way too troublesome to prepare a lino sheet, carve on it and have the time to slowly spread paint on it and stamp it on the appropiate paper material. I think this is the main issue here; it causes a huge mess when we do lino printing and its time consuming and personally I don't feel that it is worth it to put so much time and effort into such a medium of art. Nevertheless it is quite interesting to do this.
