Lino Print Drawing
First test print of face
Had unnecesary unclean splothces of white and features of white were not distinct:( sighhh
2nd test print of face
colour was abit more orange but the features were more distinct, didnt put enough paint
after this, ms ng suggested i print the back of the lino as first print which i did
but idh the photo of it, basically a rectangle of orange
Second test print -
colours were surprisingly clear
Second test print, paint marks from the strokes still there
After a couple more succesful prints (of varying shades or orange and red) i decided, with 3-5 okay okay 2nd prints that ill go on to the third
Cut was okay cut of abit of the neck and cuts were not deep enough until the 3rd test print when i noticed
3rd test print was kinda clear but paint strokes and unnecessary white patches on the face and black dots around the face can be cleaned up
Final print!!!
Reflection : The process was no doubt tiring, with the mondays and tuesdays staying back and doing it, but after like 20 plus prints doing it over and over again, i realised that lino print was actually rly fulfilling after getting my final print! i learnt that art isnt about perfecting it because theres always things to be improved, but rather about the process and how you can learn from it. My print wasnt perfect, it still isnt, but im happy that the process was fun and i managed to get a final print that im satisfied about
thank you ms ng:DDDDDDD
