The lines should have been cut deeper so that the outline of the butterfly on the print will be clearer. 

1. Original: Black and white design

2. Reverse: Black and white design

3. Reverse on Linoblock. Use permanent marker to mark out the areas that you do not want to cut and thicken the lines. 

4. Colour Scheme: cut "white" to print "yellow". Cut "yellow" to print "dark blue". Cut "dark blue" to print "black". 

5. Cut out the white parts to print yellow (based on colour scheme). This is for the highlights on the hair, face and shirt. 

6. First print of first layer. The paint on one spot of the forehead was not enough. There was too much ink at one of the eyes.

6. Second print of first layer. The areas that I wanted white came out quite clearly. The paint covered the areas on the face. There was enough paint for the forehead. 

6. Third print of first layer. The paint around the neck was not enough. However, the parts that are white were printed clearly. 

7. Cut out the yellow parts to print blue (based on colour scheme). This is for the background. 

8. Test print of the second layer. From this test print, I need to cut the lino print cleaner so that there will not be lines on the face.

9. First print of second layer. The paint in the background was not enough. 

9. Second print of second layer. The colour in the background was dark and clear. 

9. Third print of the second layer. The background is a bit light. 

10. Cut out the blue parts to print black. The part on the forehead was cut too deeply. 

11. Test print of the last layer. The background is not clean enough and there is too little paint. 

12. First print of the last layer. The hair came out quite clearly and dark. 

12. Second print of the last layer. The strands of hair at the side were not dark and clear enough. The highlights on the top of the hair is not very clear. 

12. Third print of the last layer. Overall, his is the best print among the others. Although the background is not clean enough, the outline of the hair can be seen clearly. The hightlights on the hair is also very clearly printed.
