step 1: draw and outline rabbit
step 2: cut the rabbit
step 3: half done linocut
step 2: (I forgot to take photo). Using the light box, draw the reverse of the original sketch on the other side of the paper
STEP 1:(i forgot to take photo of the finished paper drawing) sketch out the photo and shade the shadow areas.
step 3: colour in on the reversed sketch
step 4: moved the reversed sketch onto the linocut and markered it out with marker
step 5: carve out all the white spaces on the linocut.
step 6: my first print, there were many whute spaces on the face and the lino cut was not well cut
step7: my 2nd try on the first colour, the paint was too thick and smudged all over the face, i should spread out the paint evenly next time
step8: my 3rd try on first colour, the roller did not manage to spread the paint out evenly, i had many white cuts and spaces on the face
step9: my 4th try on first colour, the roller managed to work out smoothly however there many many white dots and the eyes could not be seen, the paint could be thicker
step10: the paint started to be clearer, my eyes and eyebrows could be seen much more better, however the linocut was not well cut enough, there was still stains around the shirt
step11: the paint was actually quite dark, it was just the angle of the photo that made it look light.the stains around the shirt are better solved and everything is clearer this time
step 12: everything was great except the shirt there, i could have cut the linocut deeper
Step 13: I printed the purple background onto my previous linocuts, however I forgot to take the photos ,on some of my linocuts the purple was stained or it was not dark enough and left white spots behind
Step 14: this is my final print, I printed black paint onto my Lino print however there, my black print still would stain the background , I could hve make sure other then the black areas I should have use cloth and wiped off the other areas , however maybe due to my cutting skills, The black areas printed is not clear enough, I will make sure next time I can cut more skill fully and carefully , to make sure that my linoprint can be clean and neat
