Sec 2 students engage in an old-school well-loved craft of carving on the linoleum. Linoleum (lino for short) was the material originally used for floor covering. High quality linoleum material was favoured over ceramic tiles as it would not crack.
Working on the linoleum as opposed to wood carving is preferred as it is a much softer medium. Drawing can also be clearly traced and outlined on the lino surface before cutting.
