LHS Community!
Attention Warriors, we encourage you to join our Seal of Bi-Literacy. This program will bring many benefits but some might ask what is NYSSB (New York State Seal of Biliteracy)? It is an award given to highschool graduates who have earned the knowledge of having one or more world languages. Keeping the value of diversity alive in a multilingual society is very important.
Giving back to the community and the communities that we are a part of is important to a lot of people. For me, it is a very important part of my life. If this is the same for you, you should join a new club we have at the high school called UNICEF Unite.
Recently, LHS FACS teacher, Amanda Collins, and the Key Club did a blood drive with the intent of saving people’s lives and sending money to organizations. This drive was a total success!
In honor of Women’s History Month; many women have come out and spoke about their experiences working with men throughout their career journey.
