Seasonal depression is very common in Upstate New York during the winter months. Many people experience changes in their mood, energy, and motivation once the weather gets colder and the days become shorter. The long days, loss of an hour of sleep from schedule changes, and dark winters create the conditions for seasonal depression to develop. 

Going to the movies is something that nearly everyone has done at least once in their life but in recent years movie theaters all over were no different than a ghost town in a western period film.
