LHS Step Team Preforms at Fall Pep Rally

By: Janet Conklin / October 14, 2022

The LHS step team wowed us once again at the pep rally this past Friday. The step team is a group of students who spend countless hours preparing a dance to show the school on days like the pep rally or  halftime shows and even have 3-4 shows for the public a year!

It’s truly amazing to be able to have watched this group of amazing dancers grow over the last couple years, and I can’t wait to see all the places they go!

We wish them the best of luck next week as they are performing during halftime of the Liverpool vs. CBA at 6 o'clock.

It has recently come to the students attention that the step team currently does not have there own space to practice when preparing for events like these. With an upcoming show the team practices about 3 times a week, and for some reason they seem to always be bouncing from one "practice" space to another. " It makes us feel out of place and unwelcomed in a way, like we aren't a club" says Christine Martin, a member of the LHS step team. This is an issue that will be brought into light in hopes that we can find this amazing group of dancers a permanat practice space that feels like home. This is what we built the Fin Art's facilities for, right?
