On November 17th and 18th LHS Casting Hall members put on an outstanding performance of “Clue.” The performance left the audience laughing hysterically. These handful of students and director Sky Harris worked countless hours over the course of two months to make this show possible from the set designs/props to the actual creation and casting of the show.
Sarah Bray plays the the role of Miss Scarlet in this picture.
After talking with senior Sarah Bray it seems that this show was a fun overall experience for all. Bray played the role of Miss Scarlet, a madame who lived in Washington DC. She’s a rather cunning character who enjoys flirting with other characters in the show (Green, Mustard, Plum and Boddy) through the night. Scarlet is being blackmailed like the rest of the guests for her secret escort service.
“Stepping into the character of Scarlet was a bit odd compared to roles I've played in the past due to her seductive nature, but I had a fun time doing it. I’ll never forget how great it felt when everyone giggled at Scarlet’s flirtatious lines. Putting together the show was an incredible experience, the cast and crew members in this show were more than inclusive and we all grew to love each other over the two months. We even got the chance to have a member from Syracuse.com come to photograph one of our dress rehearsals, we all had a fun time scrolling through the pictures together. Miss Scarlet is my favorite role I’ve ever played…putting together and performing this show was a beautiful experience”, says Sarah.
