The Warriors first postseason game will be at Liverpool high school stadium playing against a Utica Proctor that has a record of 4-3. Liverpool has had a solid regular season with a record of 5-2. In week four Liverpool defeated Proctor 29-6 at PHS, and they are looking to take them down again at home this week. The Warriors haven’t been the best during the playoffs these past few years but everyone feels optimistic about this year for the team.

Jalen Graham, the team’s starting quarterback, when asked how he’s preparing himself for the playoffs he responded with, “Watching as much film as I could… just observing my mistakes that I made in previous games and learning from them so it won’t happen this week. I don’t want to let down this program or this team.” Graham has 205 yards on the year along with two touchdowns in the air, and on the ground he has 177 yards and four touchdowns making him one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the playoffs.

If you aren’t a student then the game is five dollars to get in at Liverpool High School Field. Liverpool will be looking to move into the next round with this win tonight, so make sure you come and cheer them on. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. and no bags will be allowed into the stadium. We will have a follow up article next week. Have a great time at the game, and have a happy Halloween!
