On January 12th, 2024 Green Day will release their 14th studio album titled Saviors. Green Day, known all over the world for records like Dookie, American Idiot, and Revolution Radio have released multiple singles in preparation for this release. The group released three singles in the last couple of months titled “Dilemma”, “The American Dream is Killing Me”, and “Look Ma, No Brains!”. The band consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool are all working on this project and have continued to stay close friends even after 30 years.

Green Day are best known for their work in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, as most view their output after that to be worse in comparison. The group has brought home four Grammys and has been nominated for 17. In 2010 they developed a Broadway show version of their hit album American Idiot. The show stayed on Broadway for the next year and won a Grammy for best musical show album. In 1994 Green Day entered mainstream success with their album Dookie. With hits like “She”, “Basket Case”, and “Sassafras Roots” Green Day were able to captivate millions with their music and more importantly their message. Green Day has always spoken out against world issues and the establishment of democracy.

“Green Day looks to be entering an era full of fresh anthems.” said the Grammy Awards. Over the last thirty years Green Day has proved itself as one of the all time greats. Early next year, more promising music will be released by this dynamic trio. As millions of fans wait in anticipation, we will all see what Green Day has cooked up for us this time around.
