Battle of the Books is a new way our 3rd-5th grade students can strengthen their literary repertoire and compete against teams on our campus and others across Lubbock-Cooper!
Each nine weeks, our students and families share in a literacy experience. By reading one novel together as a school family, we are able to connect the text to learning objectives, social emotional conversations, and regular family engagement nights.

We believe that partnering with parents is the best way to lay a strong foundation for our students. We aim to provide multiple opportunities for parents to be involved in their children's educational journey.
The East Elementary PTO and Watch D.O.G.S. organizations are just two ways parents can connect with other East Elementary families and further strengthen their involvement on our campus.
