My WHY:
I believe that success happens when we make sense of the complex. HOW I do that is by finding better ways and sharing them. Ultimately WHAT I bring is a way to contribute and add value (have an impact on the lives of others).
My goal this year is to work closely with others to help them make sense of the complex and challenging.
About Me
My name is Kortney Avila, and I am the Digital Learning Specialist here at East. This year will be my third year at East, and before that I taught 5th grade RLA at West for five years. This will be my 12th year in education.
I have been married to my husband, Efrain, for seven years, and we have a 2 year old son, Waylon. We enjoy spending time as a family traveling, watching Tech sports, and just being together. I enjoy reading, crafting, and taking naps.
