My WHY:
I am at my best when I can contribute to those around me. I believe that communication is often at the heart of what it is to contribute, by relating to those we love through not only our wants and needs, but our thoughts, fears, and dreams.
My goal this year is to be an uplifting and safe place for students to grow in their ability to confidently connect with others.
About Me
I am excited to be starting my third year as one of East Elementary’s speech-language pathologists. I have lived in Lubbock my whole life, and attended the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center for both my undergraduate and master’s degree. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 6 years, and he just joined the LCP family as a 4th grade teacher at West Elementary. We have one little girl, Harley Kate, who is 1 year old. When I am not at work, I love taking walks with my family around our neighborhood, listening to audio books, and spending time with family and friends.
I love getting to serve the kiddos of East, and I am passionate about making sure every child has a voice and has the tools they need to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.
