About Me

Hello! My name is Alyssa Moreno, and I am originally from Tahoka, Texas but grew up in Lubbock most of my life. I Went to Lubbock-Cooper all the way up to my sophomore year then I graduated from Tahoka High School, So it was very exciting to return to my roots! I Have a Six year old little boy named Hendrix {Yes, After Jimi}, a Doodle named Jimi, and a Little dog named Sahara! A little fun fact about me is that I am a licenced cosmetologist! 

I am SO excited to be starting my 5th year at East Elementary! I was a Pre-K paraprofessional for 3 years, and this will be my 2nd year as the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. My son is Autistic, and is my purpose for going into this Position! My goal is to teach with a purpose and help students reach their full potential! So I am SUPER excited to see what this school year is going to bring, and watch students grow!
