About Me

Hi! My name is Amber Maddox and I am starting my ninth year in education. This is my first year at East Elementary and I am so excited to join the Cooper Pirate family. I previously taught 2nd grade math and science for eight years. 

I have been married to my husband Rusty for fourteen years. We have two amazing kids Ryker, who is 4 and starting Pre-K this year at East this year. He loves all things heavy equipment, gymnastics, and he will start playing basketball this fall. We have our sweet little girl Reagan who is one and a half. She is the life of the party. She loves to play and be right in the mix with each of us. We have a sweet Australian Sheppard named Sally (after the cars movie) and our horse Ace. We enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and spending time together as a family, which usually is playing games, or toys.
