About Me

Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Sarah Brunson and I am a 1st grade teacher at Lubbock-Cooper East Elementary. This will be my 5th year in education and 2nd at Lubbock-Cooper East. Most of my career has been spent in 1st grade, but I taught 2nd grade for one year. It is such a blessing to me and my family to be a part of the Lubbock-Cooper East community. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve students alongside such an incredible team of teachers and administration. 

I have been married to my husband, Bryan, for 3 years. We have a two year old little boy named Barrett. Barrett loves dinosaurs, baseball, monster trucks, and playing outside. It is my greatest joy to get to be a mama and a teacher. I enjoy serving at our church, where Bryan is the youth minister, playing outside with Barrett, reading, and shopping.
