About Me

Hello, and welcome to the 2023 - 2024 school year! My name is Nubia Pineda and this will be my 12th year at Lubbock-Cooper. I was a Pre-K teaching assistant for 7 years for amazing teachers! I was also an ESL teaching assistant for 3 years and now work as an inclusion assistant for the past 2 years. Previously moving to East Elementary, I was at Central Elementary for 3 years. 

I have been married to my husband Carlos for the past 26 years! We have three beautiful daughters, Shelly 25, Azeneth 19, and Ashley 17. I am extremely proud of my daughters as first generation college graduates in my family. Shelly holds her Bachelors in Humans Sciences and Masters in Health Care Administration both from Texas Tech. Azeneth is currently attending Texas Tech to pursue nursing school, to get to her long term goal to be a nurse practitioner. My daughter Ashley will be a junior at LCHS! We all as a family enjoy watching Formula 1 Racing, even if it begins at 4 am, that's our PASSION! 

I look forward to serving staff, students, and our parents when they need a helping hand or need assistance with translating from Spanish to English! I cannot wait for the new journey to begin!
