My WHY:
I believe that trust is the driving characteristic behind everything I stand for. When relationships are based on trust, there is no limit on what can be accomplished!
My goal for the year is to create a trusting and positive classroom environment for the students I will work with throughout the school year.
About Me
Hi! My name is Christina Kear. I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. However, I lived in Upstate New York and Indiana throughout my childhood. My husband, son, and I have lived in Lubbock for 15 years. We have been a Lubbock-Cooper Pirate Family since my son was in Kindergarten. He will be starting at LCHS this fall. We enjoy traveling & being with friends and family.
I had a total of 14 years experience as a classroom teacher and administrator before having the opportunity to be an at-home parent for 12 years. In 2021, I jumped back into the classroom at East Elementary as a 5th grade teacher and then transitioned into an Intervention Teacher position the following year. This will be my second year as a K-5 Intervention Teacher at East. I am excited to make this my best year yet!
