My WHY:
I believe that trust is the driving characteristic behind everything you stand for. You’ll go to great limits to prove you are trustworthy. You will look to do things correctly simply because that’s what a trusted person would do.
My goal this year is to make an impact in the children I work with. I believe that all children are amazing and can accomplish so much if we let them do it.
About Me
I am excited to start my 9th year as a paraprofessional for Lubbock Cooper ISD. I worked 3 years at Central Elementary as a Behavior assistant. When East Elementary opened, I moved and did a year of Behavior here, then was a physical education assistant coach. Last year, I started working more one on one doing inclusion.
I was born and raised here in Lubbock, Texas. I went off to college and came back home. I was a foster mom to five children at different times. The last two I fostered, I adopted - Kade (6) and Kamri (5) and have had Kade since he was 18 months old and have had Kamri since she was 4 months old. I have been blessed with these two amazing kiddos. I have been engaged to Jennifer Bishop since January 21st of 2023. I love spending time with my family and going on road trips. Lake life is the best with family! I am excited to start a new time in my life with growing our family.
I look forward to a great 2023-2024 school year. I can’t wait to see all the students' growth and make a positive impact at East Elementary.
