About Me

I am so excited to have your child in our class. I am Mrs. Blacklock’s teaching assistant, and we look forward to learning and growing with your kiddo. Our class is all about fostering an environment that encourages engagement and inclusion but, most of all, learning through play and fun! 

I spent two years at South Plains College, focusing on early childhood education. This will be my sixth year with Mrs. Blacklock as her teaching assistant, and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to continue another school year with her. I assure you that your children are in the best of hands! 

I have been married to my amazing husband for 11 years. We have a son named Kanyon, and he will be a sixth grader here at the Middle School this year. We also have a son named Kolman, who is three and a half years old. My boys are my pride and joy! Oh! And I can’t forget to mention our sweet Labradoodle, Crockett. 

As a parent, one of my favorite aspects of East is the encouragement of family involvement and Mrs. Blacklock, and I look forward to open lines of communication with you throughout the year! I believe that Pre-K is one of the most important times in a child's life, and I am truly humbled to be on this journey with your child!
