About Me

I am your child's zany Art Teacher! This is my 20th year to have the amazing title of being an educator...my 4th year as an Art Teacher! Before moving to the Art room I was blessed to teach grades 5th, 2nd, 1st, Kinder, and PK. I love reading with students and use books to help guide my art instruction! 

I am born and raised in the LBK and a Texas Tech Graduate...GUNS UP! I have been married to by husband, Shane Ray (LCP alumni), for a magical seventeen years! We have two incredible kids together! Our daughter Lillie Jayne is a high school Junior. She for sure keeps our family happy and busy...she is on the Varsity Pom Squad, Dance Team, Varsity Theatre, Varsity Choir, and Show Choir. Our precious Lane is a 6th grader at LCMS (this is my first year without one of them at school with me)...he plays Tennis and is in Theatre, loves to ride bikes, go hiking, and is a wiz at anything technology! All three of us are active members of both Moonlight Musicals and Lubbock Community Theatre! If I'm not in the classroom, the stage is my second home! I love singing (I'm a member of the Lubbock Chorale) and tap dancing....and rainbow color coding all things!
