My WHY:
I believe that success happens when things are clear to be able to make a decision. I believe that with clarity comes better decisions and clearer direction.
My goal this year is show students what clear expectations and goals look like for me and then transpose to their own goals for learning and living!
About Me
Hello! I'm Gina Thomas and I'm beginning my 4th year here at East! This will be my 15th year in education, 5 years in Pre-K, 4 years in Kindergarten, 2 years teaching music to babies-Kindergartners, and the last 3 years here at East in 1st grade. This year I'm stepping into a new role and will be serving as an academic interventionist on our campus. I have boy/girl twins that will be in 3rd grade here at East as well and it is an amazing blessing to be on the same campus. They are my absolute joy and I enjoy doing all the things they are involved in from basketball to gymnastics to dance, and church activities; we stay very busy.
I'm most looking forward to seeing all the kids again! In my new role, I'll have the opportunity to visit every grade level on a daily basis and it will be so great to see familiar, sweet faces in every single pod!
