The Lessons of Virtual Learning

This past year has been one of the most useful school experiences I have had throughout high school. As a virtual student, it was almost entirely up to me how this year would turn out. Having to keep up with and prepare for every assignment has been a slight challenge at times, but I managed to make it through alright. I have had to discipline myself and get all of my work done so that I can prepare for the future.

As I move forward with life, I can’t help but reflect on these past years of high school. Some of my favorite memories occurred at Friday night football games. My friends and I would walk anywhere and everywhere on Friday evenings after school and eventually get to the football games and have even more fun. I will certainly miss but cherish those moments.

I haven’t fully decided how my future will turn out, but I am always excited to see where life takes me. As of right now, I plan on attending New River Community College for two years, then transferring to a four-year college. I have not picked out a four-year college that I would like to attend yet, but I will make that decision when the time comes. I wish all of my fellow graduates the best for the future.
