My name is Ian Bowles and I'm almost 18. I have seven siblings. I have three tattoos. My Mom's name is Amanda and my Dad's name is Shannon. I play football and soccer. I made honors in the Technology Center.

In welding, it may seem easy, but it’s not. Hard work pays off and I learned that from my instructor. It gets really hot when you weld.

We have done test plates all year. They show the teacher how much we have learned in class. If we do it badly, he explains why and helps us improve the next time we do a test plate.

The projects we do for others are so fun. We learn how to weld on trailers, trucks, tractors, and such. The projects we are working on right now are shelves and fixing a dump truck. I hope people try out welding. It's so fun and you learn so much.
