My name is Mackenzie Meredith. I’m a senior here at Giles High School. I am ready to get out of here. I look forward to the new beginnings and freedoms I will have after graduating. I’m grateful that I have met such wonderful people and made many new friends. I hope to make many more friends and keep as many of the old friends around as possible.
I’ve noticed a lot of growth within myself over the past four years, in my self-worth and my independence, especially. I’ve learned to rely on myself for my happiness and the answers to my questions. I also learned to stop caring what other people think of me because either way, I’m going to get judged.
I wish nothing but the best for my fellow graduates. I hope they accomplish their lifelong goals and find true happiness within themselves. Even if a few weren’t the absolute nicest to me, I wish them all the best of luck in their future years. I would also like to go to a reunion 20 years from now and see everyone I graduated with, alive at the least, hahaha!
