Football

Hi, my name is Dominick Robilard and I'm a senior at Giles High School. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but my dad was in the Army so we moved around. I also lived in South Carolina before I moved here. I love to play and watch football. I am also enlisting in the U.S. Army after graduation. In this blog, I will write about what I believe the first 10 picks will be in the NFL draft.

With the first pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars will take Trevor Lawrence (QB, Clemson). This pick is almost undisputed as they need a QB to start day one.

With the second pick, the New York Jets will take Zach Wilson (QB, BYU). The Jets are also in need of a QB, but I don't believe it's a good pick. I think they need a WR or Lineman, but QB is most likely their pick.

With the third pick, the San Francisco 49ers will take Trey Lance, (QB, North Dakota State). They are looking for a QB to start in a few years to come and drafting Trey will let him sit the bench this year and get better for years to come.

With the fourth pick, the Atlanta Falcons will take Justin Fields (QB, Ohio State). Matt Ryan is old and out of his prime. They need a replacement and he can sit behind him for a year and start next year.

With the fifth pick, the Cincinnati Bengals will take Penei Sewell (T, Oregon). The Bengals got their QB last year and now they are starting to build around him. They have a good running back, a decent QB, and now they will build their lineup.

With the sixth pick, the Miami Dolphins will take Ja’Marr Chase (WR, LSU). They have their QB of the future and now it's time to build around him.

With the seventh pick, the Detroit Lions will take Rashawn Slater (T, Northwestern). They don't have the picks to move up because QB is their biggest need.

With the eighth pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars will take Kyle Pitts (TE, Florida). With getting a QB, they need to give him a weapon to throw to. I also believe that they might take Jaylen Waddle.

With the ninth pick, the Tennessee Titans will take Jaylen Waddle (WR, Alabama). They have a good backfield, they just need better players to throw to.

With the tenth pick, the Dallas Cowboys will take Patrick Surtain (CB, Alabama). They need to improve their defense and corner-back is a great place to start.
