A look into my life, and how it turned me into the person I am today....

My name is Kaitlyn Crawford and I am in the 12th grade. I live with my grandparents. I have been living with them since 3rd grade. I love to cheer. I have been cheering since I was 3 years old. I did go to Narrows Elementary for my 2nd grade year. I came back to Macy in 3rd grade and have been here ever since. More on my background is that I have had a lot of trouble with my parents, they were not in my life very much.

My life did start off rough and it got worse throughout my childhood, and if it was not for my grandparents I would have had nowhere to live. Watching my parents do what they did made me want to become a better person and want more in life than what they put themselves through. In my day-to-day life, I live on a farm, so I help out a lot with my Papaw. My Mamaw is into baking and quilting and crocheting, so I am in the process of learning how to do that.

My life has been through a roller coaster, but I have learned how to cope with it.

I have learned that I want better for myself. I am grateful that I have loving grandparents who I know will always be there for me and help me.
