Hi, my name is Haleigh Stephens and I’ve lived on a farm my entire life. I have owned all kinds of animals, including chickens, guineas, turkeys, emus, dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, mice, lizards, turtles, a scorpion, and my favorite of all...GOATS.

Goats are really funny critters. They have very different personalities. Goats are such little weirdos and they are so fun. I have two goats. When I got them, they quickly became my best friends. I absolutely love going out to my goats' pen and seeing them scream at me for food and attention. They are so demanding depending on their personalities.

Goats can be very sweet and loving. My friend has goats that will lay in the field when she goes out there. They will sit and lay on her. They are the most loving goats that I have ever seen, but she also has one goat that is the rudest thing I have ever seen. He headbutts anyone who comes in his pen.

Goats can also be very hard to keep alive. Many people who own goats say that as soon as they are born, goats are just looking for a place to die. There are so many diseases and illnesses that goats can get that are fatal. They are very susceptible to diseases.
