I am an 18-year-old basketball player. My name is Jonathan Hamlin, but I go by Jon. I love to watch college basketball, but not the NBA, because there is no defense.

March Madness is the NCAA basketball tournament in which you choose a champion. This year will be a very crazy year due to COVID. No matter how good a team is, there is always a chance they may have to forfeit simply because of COVID.

Adding on to players getting COVID, Virginia was unable to travel to the tournament until the day before because five members on their team tested positive for COVID. With Virginia being one of the better teams in the tournament, it could impact their performance. No team has a safe bet to the championship this year like other years, which will make this year’s tournament the most interesting yet.

This year some would say that seedings are less important, due to COVID being able to wipe a team out. This year when you make your bracket do not hesitate to bet on the underdog, for anything could happen this year.
