My name is Ashton Hetherington and I am 17 years old. I've lived in Giles all of my life.

During my time at GHS, I managed to get by with my classwork even though I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I spent all of my time outside of school with my friends. We had a good time just being young and raising Cain.

I had the honor of winning the Gold Medal in the Welding State competition. I will be going to Nationals sometime in June. I'm really excited and grateful to compete.

I wish my classmates the best of luck with their dreams, goals, accomplishments, ups and downs, potholes--the whole nine yards. We've been through a rough year together, but we still did it.
