Machine shop is one of the most fun things I have participated in during high school, but it also involves a lot of concentration and precision. In machine shop, we have to be very precise and deal with very big parts.

We make anything you can think of, whether it's constructed of metal or aluminum. Having to multitask is a big part of being a good machinist, You have to be able to read blueprints to figure out what you're going to make.

You also have to be able to take parts down to the smallest increments that they can get. I will always love to machine. It'll always be a skill I'm glad I took an interest in learning more about.
