My name is Marshall, I am 18 years old and have lived in Giles all my life. One of the most important things to me is my family. They have encouraged me to be the best person I can be. Another important thing in my life is my education because without education, I wouldn’t be where I am now.
My favorite class as a senior was Welding in the Tech Center. I got to work with my hands and learn a skill that I could use in the real world. My favorite memory of being a student at Giles was driving up to Alleghany for a football game when the bus broke down. We later defeated them.
I am grateful for all of my friends and teachers who helped me get through and enjoy high school. After graduation, I will be attending NRCC for welding then going into the workforce. I am looking forward to graduating and starting to live on my own. I wish nothing but the best of luck for my fellow graduates as we begin our lives.
