To the Payne Tech 9th grade teachers, as per the email sent on Friday....
Please ask your 9th grade students to please complete the following from. Please post it on Schoology because they will need to upload a picture or file of information from home. The information is needed asap.

Start Strong Assessment
The PRACTICE TEST for the Start Strong assessment should be completed by Tuesday, September 20th. Any technology issues should be resolved asap.
Please refer to communication from your building administration/guidance department with details about the Start Strong Assessment administration.

Diagnostic Assessments - September 26-30
PSAT is Tuesday, October 25, 2022 for 10th & 11th grades
LESSON PLANS - Please collaborate with your building team members to organize into course PLCs to begin submitting common lesson plans on edConnect. On September 21st, I will be collecting the names of teachers who are in the course PLCs and will ask the name of the lead for each PLC. As always, please share the responsibilities of being the lead so no one team member has more responsibility on their plate than another. More information about the submission schedule will be shared on September 21st. The only PLCs across the
WALK THROUGHS - Whenever you see me walk into your classroom with my laptop open, I will be conducting a walk through. Please do not interrupt the class instruction to engage with me. I will quietly record what I observe and then send you the notes in My Learning Plan.
OBSERVATIONS - (My Learning Plan ) - I have already called the two teachers who will be observed in September. At the beginning of October, I will contact the next set who I will be observing to set up appointments. If you need help finding any of the items on My Learning Plan, please reach out to me or a team member. And thank you for always be supportive of your team members. It is what makes this team the best in my opinion.
Tenured teachers will have 2 observations (one announced, another unannounced)
Non-tenured teachers will have 3 observations (2 announced, 1 unannounced)
The announced observation parts are the pre-observation questions, a pre-observation conference, the post-observation questions & the post-observation conference.
The unannounced observation parts are the post-observation questions & the post-observation conference.
