The individual student scores will be emailed to each teacher with the Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 results.
The seniors who have NOT YET met the NJDOE graduation testing requirements will be taking the Accuplacer this week and the ASVAB on December 6-8. I emailed the senior teachers with the list of students in their classes who fall into this group. For the specific dates, see the reminders in the section below.
Accuplacer and ASVAB assessment resources are on the ECST Testing Strategies website.
All 9th grade students who are enrolled in an Algebra 1 course will take the NJSLA Algebra 1 in Spring 2022. The assessment is scheduled for May 16-20, 2022. There will be building-based meetings of the Algebra 1 teachers so a curriculum mapping can be developed to help us navigate the planned instruction from now to May 15. Look for the email to arrive before December 23rd.
Scott Hlavacek sent out an EMAIL pertaining to MyVR Spot:
"During the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic we signed up with MyVRSpot to utilize the live streaming aspect of the service for our Winter sports when parents and students were not allowed to attend the games. One of the benefits of this service is that every teacher does have a video repository that they can utilize and integrate into Schoology. Below is the training site for MyVRSpot, if you attend 3 training sessions you will receive a MyVRSpot Certified Educator badge.
To access the MyVRSpot website you can either click the link from the OneLogin Launch Pad or you can go to https://live.myvrspot.com/essex your username is your email address and your password is your email password.
