UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! DEADLINE: THU., OCT 5 @ 4PM
The window to administer the diagnostic assessments is closed. The results from the Delta Math diagnostics have been shared in folders (see links below). Teachers, please insert your name next to your students' names in these spreadsheets. Also, the scores from the diagnostic assessments given on paper (Calc, APCalc & ICA) should be inserted into the provided spreadsheets. This is a test to see if you read the newsletter and can follow directions. This is where Ms. Koltsova always gets a gold star. 😉
Delta Math - Alg1, Geo & Alg2 (TEACHERS SHOULD INSERT THEIR NAMES NEXT TO THEIR STUDENTS' NAMES IN THE SPREADSHEETS. Use format LAST, FIRST.)
Paper Administration - Calc, APCalc & ICA (TEACHERS SHOULD INSERT THE RAW SCORE NEXT TO THEIR STUDENTS' NAMES IN THE SPREADSHEETS; LOOK FOR THE TAB WITH YOUR NAME. Insert only the raw score and not a % or fraction.)
IF APPLICABLE, INFORMATION IS DUE BY WED., OCT 4 @ 3:00PM
The chart contains the list of 11th grade teachers. Highlighted are the teachers that I remember having already visited on my tour. If I have already visited your class and your name is not highlighted, please contact me. I know I have visited more than 4 so far, but you know.... old age affects memory. 😄 Also, if the junior class that you teach is not listed in the chart, contact me.
As in years past, my goal is to visit every 11th grade class to stress the importance of the 3 assessments that the Juniors will be taking this year (PSAT, NJGPA & SAT). I will focus on the pacing modifications to the curricula to best prepare the students for the skills presented in all 3 assessments. I will not be discussing graduation requirements.

PROFESSIONAL/INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES WORTH SHARING
Last year, Dr. Eric Milou generously shared a spreadsheet filled with resourses, many of which he introduced to us during the PD session. Well, he had updated it to include BTC resources and links. Check it out!
We need a club just for the math teachers. Any suggestions? Dancing, music, crochet, bowling, math in art, painting, pickleball, movie night?
Amy, what do you suggest?
