Think of a time when you have felt "knocked down" by things that have happened to you.

Even though we can't have Jesus next to us, when we remember the promises in the Bible, it is like we can feel His hand holding us and hear His soft voice reminding us that He is our Friend and is willing to help us.

Look through your Treasure verse rings and choose your favourite verses to share with a partner.

Pray and thank Jesus for knowing what you need, for healing us, and for helping us. Thank Jesus for being our compassionate Friend. And pray for your classmates.

Task Three

Practise rounding numbers to the nearest 10 by completing three workstations.

Task Four

Rounding is a way we can do a quick check to see if our adding is correct.

If I need to add 58 + 33, I can think that 58 rounds to 60, and 33 rounds to 30, and if I add 60 + 30 the answer will be 90. So I would know that if I got an answer of 101 when I add 58 + 33, then I would know that I might have made a mistake.

Use estimating to decide whether these sentences are True or False.

49 + 38 = 77

68 + 61 = 139

72 + 97 = 169

• Set up exhibits for celebrations across all Year 3 spaces (20 mins)

• Rehearse the presentation (10 mins)

• Year 3 students can view each others' exhibits (30 mins)

RECESS - get changed into costumes

1:20 - 2:50

• Classes plus Admin staff view the exhibits

• Year 3 teachers take photos and take video snippets to create a video for parents to view

• Pack up at 2:20 (if time, reflect on feedback from class visits)

In pairs students will be observing:

• exhibit presentation (physical)

• contribution of individual students in the presentation and towards the physical exhibit

• demonstration of knowledge
