With this play dough, discuss and make the three most important things that your group thinks the Israelites needed in their new land.
Discuss as a class:
What your group thought were the 3 most important things the Israelites needed.
How well each group of students worked together.
Do you think it was important for the Israelite tribes to work cooperatively together to establish and make a new life for themselves?
Participate in reading activities given by your teacher (reading cards, reading groups, Article-a-Day or independent reading).
As you read your reading cards, or Article-a-Day, or your own book, think about what connections you can make with things in your own life or other books you have read, and see if that helps you to understand better what the author is talking about.

Suffixes s, es
In Lesson 2, Unit 11 we will add the suffixes s and es to words. Complete activity 5 on page 27 of your Soundwaves book.
Practise counting by 5s from any number your teacher gives you.
Remember that when you are telling the time, the small hand tells you what hour/o'clock you are thinking about, and the big hand tells you how many minutes past the hour it is. Imagine what the clock would look like at "o'clock", the count by fives until you get to where the big hand is pointing - that way you will know how many minutes past the hour it is.
Watch the videos below.
Everyone should complete the first 3 activities on the lefthand side. Those would like a challenge, have a go at the rest of the activities.
Soccer drills such as dribbling around markers, kicking to each other and playing square soccer will be conducted prior to playing a game.
The teacher will sit down with their group and go through the rules of the game and how to play. Once all students are clear on how to play/the expectations you will have a game with the teacher refereeing.
