Pull the rope through the hole in the box and progressively read the events listed on the Event tags (stop at renewing of the Covenant).
Once the rope is completely out of the box, lay it on the ground and share how it has become a timeline.
What had the people discovered about God through these past situations?
Now read the story Promising God:
• Why did all the Israelites come together?
• Why was it important to do this?
• Name three things Joshua did when the people were all together between the mountains.
• Why was everyone silent?
• Of what did Joshua remind the people?
• Why did Mother have a little stone idol?
• Why did Father smash the idol?
• What does ”As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” really mean?

Your teacher will show you how to plot these reasons onto the planning graph. The upward curve shows how the tension (or interest/excitement level) grows as you write.
Complete Scavenger Hunt from last lesson.

Your teacher will give you a worksheet or task cards which require measuring with a ruler.
Soccer drills such as dribbling around markers, kicking to each other and playing square soccer will be conducted prior to playing a game.
The teacher will sit down with their group and go through the rules of the game and how to play. Once all students are clear on how to play/the expectations you will have a game with the teacher refereeing.
