Discovery Education

Overview

Discovery Education is a subscription service that is available to all CCPS students and staff.

CCPS subscribes to Discovery Education Experience and a Science and Math Techbook. With these services, teachers can enhance their curricula by incorporating Discovery Education videos, interactives, and other content resources.

The Interface

This is a snapshot of Discovery Education's landing page for teachers. The three main sections of the page are emphasized and labeled: Discover (Search resources by trending, subject, or standard), Teach (organize saved resources in content, build boards of content in Studio, and share and assess content with students), and Grow (Find and use instructional strategies to use in your classroom and connect with other DE users to see what they're doing). Under the section "My DE" the Math and Science Techbooks are emphasized and Instructional Inspiration and Mathematics, which is labeled as "Channels to topic specific resources - Subscribe or Unsubscribe to personalize your experience!"
