A Time Saver!

Clever badges save valuable time in the classroom. Teachers are able to print badges for each student through the Clever portal. These badges contain a unique quick-response (QR) code that when scanned, log students into the Clever portal in an instant.

Creating Clever Badges for Your Class!

Below are the quick steps for getting Clever badges for your students! Print the badges and laminate them so they last longer!

Step 1:

In the top menu, select "Classes" and click the class for which you want to make badges.

Step 2:

In the top right of the screen, select "Download Class Set of Badges".

Step 3:

If using Chrome, at the bottom of the screen you will see a tab that contains the PDF file for your badges.

If using Edge, a dialog box will pop up at the bottom of the screen asking if you'd like to open or save the PDF file.

Re-Printing A Badge

It's possible that a student may lose a badge...no fret! Clever allows teachers to void old badges and re-print individual student badges! Read below to learn how!

Step 1:

Select the teacher page that is shared with the student for which you need to print a new badge.

Step 2:

Inside the teacher page, you will see a list of students on the left side. Click the student that needs a new badge.

Step 3:

Click "Void" to de-activate the old badge. Then, click "Download badge" to get a new badge for the student. You should be prompted to open the document that has the badge and simply click print!
