Partial Home Backup 

(1) Tesla Powerwall: $15,000 

We only partner with top notch battery providers like LG and Tesla, world leaders in lithium-ion battery technology. Solar plus storage allows the customer to backup up to four 20A circuits in their home with LG Chem, and up to eight 30A circuits for the Tesla Powerwall. Each battery will power its designated loads only and NOT THE ENTIRE HOME during an outage. Depending on your utility’s rate structure, a battery may offset energy costs when electricity rates are at their peak. 

In Puerto Rico, often times we are able to back up the whole home with a single Tesla Powerwall, but may need to exclude the AC unit depending on the size of the home.

Whole Home Backup ($25,000)

(2+) Tesla Powerwall: $15,000 + $10,000 for each additional battery

The whole home backup option is a storage solution including two Tesla Powerwall batteries connected to your entire home. We recommend turning off larger appliances and circuits in the case of an outage to prolong your batteries capacity. Avoid using multiple items at once. Run high power devices like A/C during the day when the sun is shining brightest. The equipment may not be able to power everything at once. We do not offer any guarantee that the full home can be supported by the battery during an outage.
