How Much Time Do Dolphins Spend Together

I choose how much time do dolphins spend together and I think this is a very interesting topic because I love dolphins. So I think dolphins would spend an average of 20 minutes together because they would get bored like humans. I wanted to learn how much time dolphins spend together because dolphins are such interesting animals. Researches show dolphins are the smartest animal in the world to that's my I choose this.

I had a piece of paper that showed me all my information and for every different number ( dolphin) I colored it a different color so I could see which one I wantn’t to pick. Then I picked three different numbers and saw how much times they were seen spending together. Then I did a bunch or research and found out dolphins spend about 15-10 minutes together. Then after that I did I different set of dolphins to see if they spent the same amount of time together. That's all for the experiment part.

The data that I got was Dolphin 3, 4, and 2 spend a lot of time together. A and B spend the most amount of time together you see them 6 times together just with each other. Dolphins 4 and 2 are seen 2 times together and 3 and 2 are senn 2 times together as well. Then the second time I did it with 6, 5, and 7 these dolphins also spend a lot of time together. But 5 and 6 speed the most together they are seen 4 times together. 6 and 7 are not seen at all together and 5 and 7 are seen 2 times together.

I learned in this project that dolphins are like humans and they get bored like us. My hypothesis was correct because I said “ I think dolphins would spend and average of 20 minutes together.” They spend 15-20 minutes together on an average. My experiment was accurate because all my resources that I used said the same thing. I could improve this experiment by watching a video on dolphins from on day to see what they really do.

Procedure

• • Frist get a get a lot of information on dolphins

  • Second look 50 dolphins in a graph and color code most of them

  • Then pick a couple sets on dolphins

  • Lastly make see how much you see them together and write it down
