Even before my career in libraries, I was fascinated by health. This fascination has guided me through my life and seeped into my career, even as a librarian. My goal is to earn a Master of Public Health and transfer my librarian skills to a public health-focused career.

Via funding from the Office of the Provost and the Paideia Program, I was a part of the founding team coordinating a university-wide initiative of themed wellness walks in collaboration with students, staff, and faculty at the Center for Public Health, the Penn Libraries, the Netter Center for Community Partnerships Agatston Urban Nutrition Initiative, Walk With a Future Doc, Penn Athletics, and more.
In this capacity, I served as an advisor to Penn Walks 2 Wellness, a registered student organization whose mission is to support Weekly Themed Wellness Walks by recruiting and retaining student volunteers and maintaining an online presence on social media and via email.
