The Beginning of an Adventure

Joining the AmeriCorps has been a life goal since elementary school. Today, I just had my first day of training which included ice breakers, food, and paperwork. I'm enjoying this already. Tomorrow and Wednesday, I have site interviews. By Friday, I will find out my specific project I will be working on. My supervisor encouraged me to be open-minded on the possibilities. He was a former AmeriCorps member and now he's the coordinator.
