Fear of Success

This project anti-pattern is a phenomenon when a project is close to success / end. Some people are worry obsessively about the kind of things that can go wrong.

Symptoms and Consequences

• Towards the project ending, members of the team starts to behave erratically like making irrational decision or inappropriate actions taken to address these concerns.
• Team created bad perception outside of this project.

Causes

• Stressed, anxiety, and depression.

Refactor Recipes

• Give the team some team-building break.
• Always declare success (milestone).
