What are the ways to 3D human figure?

Should it be sculpting or topology modeling?
What I did is blocking the model with basic shape, each parts is a different shape, and topologicallly build them until I get the desired shape
I sculpt the topology until I get to the shape and form that i like. Notice how the face and body are getting a more normal proportion. Although, I don't have the time to complete the model as I want before the due date, and the topology on some body parts is still rough, I'd like to continue on this over breaks
This is how I would rig the model, by using Blender's integrated addon metarig, and it can gernerate rig that allow you to switch from F.K to I.K armarture, create a lot of automation for the rigging process.
