3D Modeling
I had used Z-brush for this 3D model. I wanted to explore more of texturing in Z-brush since i was really only familiar with standard shape modeling in Maya. I had a lot of fun texturing my character. I added physical tecture such as celuite on the legs and face folds.
Heres a more close up photo of the head/face. I did some of her makeup while also still adding natural texture such as freckles and face indents.
The Process
This is where I used basic shapes and stretched them into more the body proportions I had desired.
I went in and refines the shapes alot more and sub-dividing the body parts, allowing for more detail.
This is when i merged the body parts together, letting me blend them to flow through the body naturally. I also added finer details such as the hands and face
Finally I unwrapped the UVs, allowing me to add the skin color and textues.
Overall
I feel like zbrush is alot easier than wokring woth Maya or blender when it comes to 3D sculpting. I feel like the part i liked the most was adding the facial details and adding makeup during the painting. The part I had the most trouble with was combining everything together, there was some mesh that warped weirdly at the points of merging the body parts togther. I had to go in and fix alot near the leg and torso area.
