For this assignment, I chose Blender as my new 3D modeling software. My goal was to demonstrate foundational competency with Blender’s navigation, mesh modeling, basic material creation, and scene rendering and just getting used to the overall tool. To keep the focus on mastering core design processes rather than complex sculptures, I created a simple, stylized Minecraft-inspired voxel scene consisting of a grass block base, a small tree, and a stone block. I was inspired to do this scene when i seen the boxed grid of the main screen in blender. The final scene is composed of a 3×3×3 grid (a nine-block footprint) with a grass block acting as the ground plane. A simple tree model sits on the center square with the stone next to it on grass terrain. Below are the inspiration images.
